Is Prison Break nearing its end? (From TV.com)
Report says Fox's Prison Break is adding two hours to this season; some say it's to end the series.
Well, Prison Break fans, I have some good news and some bad news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, cast and production members from Prison Break have been told by Fox that they may be filming an additional two episodes this season (yay!), but it may come with a huge catch.
I hope you have some salt near you, because you may want to take a grain of it when you read this next sentence. The Hollywood Reporter says that those extra two episodes may serve as a series finale...yep, a series finale (their idea, not mine!).
The idea behind the logic starts with Prison Break's ratings, which are down, but also includes the fact that Prison Break was not placed on Fox's recent midseason schedule (House and 24 will be moving to Mondays, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was ostracized to Fridays). Prison Break is routinely one of those shows that is on the bubble when it comes time to cancel shows, but its ardent fan base has kept it afloat.
However, the two episodes could serve as a non-series-ending "event" (like 24: Redemption) that would air later, or could be DVD extras. It's all quite confusing at this point.
Again, this is all conjecture at the moment, but I thought you Prison Break maniacs might like to know.

Prisonr Break Season 4 (9/1)
Ah, how I love press tours because it always gives us the dirt on our favorite shows that we’ve been waiting for. The TCAs (Television Critics Assocation) are in full swing and the major players from FOX’s Prison Break were on hand yesterday to share some new details about season 4. Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, and Sarah Wayne Callies sat down from some brunch and answered questions about what critics and fans alike could expect when Prison Break returns in September. They dished on everything from MiSa’s relationship to the new and improved A-Team to where Michael Scofield’s head is at after everything he’s been through.
Your Take
Sarah Wayne Callies didn’t waste any time letting the critics know when viewers would find out what happened to her character, Dr. Sara Tancredi last season. She said that Prison Break would address, right away, her “death” and how she managed to make it out of The Company’s grasp in one piece. Just because she and Michael are reunited, though, doesn’t mean that it’s going to be smooth sailing. "People forget that Michael and Sara really don't know each other," she said. "This whole new series started six months ago, and so I think there's a lot of 'Oh, you like grapefruit? I didn't know that, but I know I love you.'"
"It's the A-Team 2008!" Wentworth said of season 4. "We are seven guys with very different agendas who are forced to work together." The New York Post speculated that Sara was part of the seven but I think I’ve got it right when I call it as being: Michael, Lincoln, LJ, Sucre, Mahone, T-Bag, and Bellick. Let’s assume that after what she’s been through, Michael will do everything in his power to keep Sara out of harm’s way.
Miller went on to talk about his character, Michael Scofield, who is constantly evolving as the show continues on. "I felt like Michael was at his best in Season One. He had a clear sense of purpose," Miller said. "And then in Season Two, the character kind of spun out. And then when we were back inside in Season Three, he had that sense of purpose again." He finished up explaining Michael by saying that in season 4, he’s got his stuff together. “This time we're being pro-active instead of reactive. He has a mission." Prison Break returns with a 2 hour season premiere on Labor Day.

The Seven Degrees of Wentworth Miller
Who doesn’t love a game of The Seven Degrees of Wentworth Miller? I’m going to start this one off with linking former soap star Justin Bruening to Wentworth Miller. This is a VERY convoluted way to do it, I’m sure you can do much better :)
1. So, to start us off … Justin Bruening stars as Mike in the new Knight Rider. And did you know that Val Kilmer is the voice of Kitt?
2. Playing the role of Elvis the mentor, Val Kilmer starred in True Romance (1993) with Patricia Arquette in True Romance.
3. Everyone knows that Patricia Arquette is the sister-in-law of Courtney Cox and how fun that they sometimes do family outings together!
4. Kind of obvious, but Courtney Cox starred on Friends, where Hugh Laurie once made a guest appearance.
5. Keeping up with his press tour, Hugh Laurie once appeared on the talk show Ellen, who on a different day chatted with Kate Walsh.
6. Everyone’s favorite obgyn, Kate Walsh stars on Private Practice with Paul Adelstein.
7. Drumroll please … and of course Paul Adelstein starred with good ole Wentworth on Prison Break.
Whew! Okay, that was more like eight or ten degrees of separation!

Amaury Nolasco on Season 4?
While visiting the set of Nimrod Antal's upcoming heist thriller Armored, Movieweb got a chance to talk with one of its stars, Amaury Nolasco. He plays Fernando Sucre on the popular Fox drama Prison Break. With the writers' strike finally over, it looks like production on the long-in-hiatus program might be revving back to life. We chatted a little bit about the show with Amaury. This is what he had to say:
When are you heading back?
Amaury Nolasco: From what I hear, we are going back in May. I don't know if you saw the cliffhanger. I'm back in prison. Its going to be pretty exciting. My girl is still pregnant. It's the longest pregnancy in TV history. People forget that with our time line, it has only been two weeks. The whole series, since season one, has been three months. If you think about it, she still has six more months to be pregnant. Fernando is the ultimate friend. I am very proud of this character. It is a beautiful relationship that he has with Michael. That is very rare nowadays. That you would take the plunge for your boy. Not only that, the third season had a whole new experience because there was a relationship with me and Lincoln. It was built up there. It's one of those shows. I know people keep asking, "How many more times can you go back to prison?" I don't know what is going to happen. I don't know what is going on in the mind of the writers. I don't think we will be going back too many more times. I don't know. But the writing is so good that as an actor, I just get out of the way. I let the writers speak.
Do you know how everything is going to come together with this new season?
Amaury Nolasco: I don't like to know what is going to happen. I like to read as they go, script wise. I know that T-bag is still inside. And so is Bellick. There is definitely going to be a relationship there, going on. I don't like to know what is going to happen. I take it script-by-script and let it develop.

Prison Break: Season 4 Filming Rumors
Good news for Prison Break fans! Last week, BuddyTV wrote about the possibility of the show returning for a fourth season. The story received an overwhelming number of responses in favor of bringing the show back to find out what happens to Michael outside the walls of Sona and Sucre trapped inside as a prisoner. 95% of the readers voted in our poll that they need a fourth season. They got their wish when TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello reported last week that it seemed certain the show was coming back. More details about the fourth season emerged today surrounding the show’s upcoming shooting location.
Despite any official word of a fourth season, Prison Break is looking to move from its home in North Texas to Los Angeles to film. "The producers have an exciting idea for next season's storylines, and unfortunately, it may require moving the series back to Los Angeles for creative reasons," said Chris Alexander, a spokesperson for 20th Century Fox Television.
f the state of Texas has anything to say about it, Prison Break won’t be going anywhere. The show brought in an estimated $122.5 million to the economy in the Dallas area and a total of 35 episodes have been filmed there. "We haven't given up on it," said Janis Burkland, head of the Dallas Film Comission. "I've been calling producers and asking what can we do, if anything, to keep this here."
Next season will surely focus more on life outside of Sona than in. Michael and Lincoln have parted ways. Michael heads out in search of The Company, and Susan, to make them pay for killing Sara. Lincoln looks to disappear with LJ, the son he has been estranged from for so long. Mahone is also free, so to speak, and has now teamed with The Company. We’ve still got Bellick, T-Bag, and Sucre in Sona but that may not be enough storyline to keep the show rooted in Texas.
